Review on ACDelco Gold Starter 337-1123 by Don Pintac

As the starter in these Duramax is very difficult to install I decided to spend a little more on a brand I thought would be known for their quality is known. When I opened the package, I saw a large "Made in China" label on the side. My pickup was already disassembled so I decided to put it in anyway. Well, as soon as I reconnect the battery, the starter immediately starts turning (without interacting with the engine). I found this weird so I checked my connections and made sure the S terminal wasn't touching the positive terminal, it wasn't. Then I disconnected the S connector and reconnected the battery and it happened again. There must be something inside that caused it. I will be returning this starter and looking for an American made product. Buyer Warning!
