After putting off replacing this part in my Xterra for much longer than I should have, I purchased this part. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I searched and evaluated a lot before I got this one. If you go to a Nissan dealer expect to spend >$200. Parts stores like AutoZone or O'Reilly sell them for around $100. Needless to say, the price for this device is steep! Installation was easy. It took five screws to remove the glove box, then three screws to remove the fan motor. I highly recommend this device. We also recommend purchasing air filters. They can be easily replaced after removing the glove box. The filters actually get dirtier than expected, so it's a good idea to replace them along with the fan motor.
