I am very happy with this device. What really stood out were the great instructions. I was used to horrible instructions in small print on cheap paper, machine-translated from Chinese. It definitely wasn't. They were printed in colour, on decent paper, in legible type! Thanks Express Water! Took almost 3 hours to install but that was mainly due to my inexperience with plumbing and poor design done by someone who did the original work. There wasn't enough room to install a splitter at either the base of the water pipe (too close to the drain pipe) or the base of the faucet (too close to the sink itself), so after exhausting all options on the other hand I had to go to Home Depot. Otherwise, the device comes with everything you need and can be installed in about an hour by anyone with a basic knowledge of their own. It comes partially pre-assembled, basically everything they could put together beforehand they did. After installing and running I can attest that the water tastes great. I plan on getting a pH meter to see if the alkaline steps are really doing their job. I also plan to test the TDS of my inlet water and the reverse osmosis outlet before the alkaline filter to see how much "stuff" it removes from my water. And I think I might as well test the final TDS after the alkaline filter. I'll update the comments when I have time. UPDATE: I have a pH meter and the water comes out with a pH of 10.8. The alkaline filter works better than I expected. The next test will be how long this works.
