Nuts won't twist if not enough threads are tightened
Make sure you use a larger yellow insert so the nut can capture enough threads to grip the yellow insert/insert fully compress the seal. Threads and nut seem to have too much play to me but I ended up sealing everything and now everything works fine underwater.
