Make sure you use a larger yellow insert so the nut can capture enough threads to grip the yellow insert/insert fully compress the seal. Threads and nut seem to have too much play to me but I ended up sealing everything and now everything works fine underwater.

Requires one Simple underground junction box for repairing the rewiring (120VAC) to a light pole in front of the house. It worked great with this app. The wires are sealed at each end with a built in compression nut, but I also put some silicone grease on the two places where the wires enter the box as insurance.
