I recommend it. I used them when I installed a low voltage solar powered sign to light up our apartment. I was able to use a pair of these cables to splice a thick direct buried power cable for a long distance between the solar panels and the remote light fixture. This allowed me to use a MUCH lower resistance wire from the solar connector to the light to SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the voltage drop compared to using the small diameter wiring provided by the manufacturer [much better for fully charging the batteries contained in the remote control LED light, um to ensure longer winter lighting on short winter days. An added bonus is that there is an easily accessible set of "test points" at each end of the interconnect cable for troubleshooting should the lighting system fail in the future.
