Review on Standard Motor Products Throttle TH264 by Mike Mitchell

I bought this in 2007 for town and country. These TPS sensors can make a world of difference in how your transmission shifts and in general how your engine performs in the future. In my experience they wear out from the inside over the years and due to the low cost I just swap them out. I don't spend all day with a multimeter measuring ohms and having someone move the throttle. I would say if your car is behaving strangely then this is one of the things to look out for. Sometimes moisture gets in. They contain an adjustable potentiometer. which provides a different ohm resistance to change the voltage signal to the computer.
