I drive a 2005 car which I still love, but when I saw my husband's 2015 model with a backup camera I started looking in the aftermarket for a camera for my trip . This little camera does a great job. The picture is sharp and clear and to be honest the quality is better than expected. Of course, at night the quality drops a bit, as with most other cameras. However, it is useful and functional. I asked my mechanic to install it for me as the car was due for service when the camera arrived. The mechanic said the installation was easy. The only thing I don't like about the camera is the installation in the car. The suction cup works well when the car is in the garage. But at the exit, the temperature of the torpedo warms up in the sun, and the suction does not last. I've read other people's reviews and can try attaching it to the windshield or with velcro. This is disappointing. But because the camera works so well, I have to handle it to be able to see what's behind me. I recommend this device to anyone who needs a rear view camera for an old model car.
