These are heavy duty pliers more suited to a man's hand. I'm a normal lady with average hands and they weren't as comfortable to hold as other pliers. They also seemed to have trouble getting through the thicker wire, like geodesic flags. I felt like they had to cut it comfortably and I figured the inside edges weren't as sharp as my other pliers. I can use steel or stone to see if I can sharpen the edges a bit. I love these tongs; They're just a little boring for the thick wire I'm planning to cut. Let Revain donate to your favorite charity!
