The scale randomly switched from metric to imperial units when measuring baking ingredients. It gets stuck in ounces and doesn't respond when switching back to grams. The only way to go back to the metric system is to turn off the scale and restart, losing the weight of all ingredients. This problem renders the scale inoperable, resulting in spoiled recipes and food waste. I tried changing the battery but that didn't change anything. There is nothing in the limited documentation to solve this problem. I emailed Greater Goods on September 3rd and have not received a reply. Supposedly the scale is like a 5-year warranty, but? Don't buy this scale unless you only want to weigh in ounces.
