This 85mm lens is great for portraits. The glass delivers sharp and detailed photos that rival more expensive lenses. When used on a Canon EOS DSLR with a full-frame EF mount, the lens looks solid without being bulky or heavy. The focus ring is large enough to control fine-tuning of focus before shooting. Produces beautiful bokeh for close-ups at f2.8. The weakest point of this lens is the autofocus, which tends to breathe a lot before focusing. The engine is pretty loud. However, given the price, this lens offers excellent value for money. This is my first purchase of a Meike product and I highly recommend it.
