Considering the price, this lens really won me over. Picture quality is excellent, especially for the price, and build quality is excellent. There is some play in the focus ring, but it's definitely acceptable. Build quality seems slightly better than the Yongnuo 35mm and I wish Mike had the 35mm autofocus like his 85mm lens. My only complaint is that there is no Meike lens profile for Lightroom (yet?). If Adobe would fix the Lens Profile Maker download link, I would make my own.

You will notice dust in the photo - after the lens popped out I wrapped it in paper towel (the only thing I had on hand). The photos were good for the street work I do, but I've only been using it for such a short time that I haven't had a chance to really test it. I bought this lens for my Canon Crop Sensor DSLR. Since this is a crop sensor camera, that 85mm lens is roughly equivalent to a 135mm lens.
