Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Enhance Engine Performance with Trans-Dapt 2564 Torque-Curve MPFI Spacers by Christopher Shavers

$45 well spent: Parts

I bolted this to my '99 GMC Sierra Z71 4.3L engine and it was immediately apparent. Most of the noticeable gain comes in the lower rpm range, but you can find that there is more torque and power throughout the rpm range. Throttle response was much better, and the extra low-end torque helped with launch. At $45 it was a bargain for the profit my truck made. I suspect the mileage will improve as well, but I can't comment on that since I installed it today. The extra torque is noticeable at highway/interstate speeds and allows the truck to stay in OD mode on hills where previously it would have had to upshift for more power. The parts that came with it worked great, except the throttle cable mounting bolt and spacer combo didn't work for my truck model. We were able to avoid a trip to the hardware store by using a washer under the bracket, cutting another in half and installing it over the top half of the bracket. All in all, I highly recommend this! TD Performance is entitled to do this.
