Laborious to assemble and guide

It's actually a good product but what I don't like is that many companies don't assemble it to save money and maximize their profits. . You could easily assemble it and ship it in a box that wouldn't be that big and certainly the same weight. I don't like all those companies that show nice pictures of the assembled item and then, to maximize their profits, make you collect it. I disagree that the build only takes a few minutes as some reviewers say. The assembly is not bad, but takes a few minutes. Mostly because, as with many guides, the guide is poorly done. You could easily have added a few extra notes and pictures which would have made it a lot easier and quicker. Also, it would be possible to put labels on a few parts so that it would be immediately clear "which side is up". Lack of assembly and poor instructions mean to me that they don't care about their customers. However, the stair stand works and helps clear the roof and make the stairs more stable. I agree that this makes the ladder a bit heavy and more difficult to manage. Well, that's normal, but for older people who are losing muscle strength, it becomes more of a challenge. To the manufacturer: Pre-assemble or at least improve it with instructions and labeling and I'm happy to give the top mark. Disassembled overpriced
