These are Hoover's original factory replacement belts and they work great. They come in packs of two and it would be foolish not to take advantage of the two pack deal for a small additional charge (4 straps total). Our items from B&M Housewares arrived in the post very quickly and we are very happy with the product and also with the seller! Tip: When starting the machine, hold the roller directly over the carpet and allow the brush to begin rotating, then use the rear foot pedal to drop the machine onto the carpet to avoid the possibility of a flat spot on the carpet to avoid tape. I ran our machine for the first time ever with the roller in the lowest position relative to the carpet and the pressure kept the belt from spinning at full speed for a few seconds. After a few times we had a flat spot on the belt that caused a terrible knock, which wasn't good. Swapped out with the above strap and everything was like new again! Now we always use this technique to start the machine and by pausing for a moment we bring it back to a fully vertical position which stops the reel's rotation immediately. The Wind Tunnel III is an excellent machine that handles pet hair issues and has exceptionally easy filter cleaning. We love it!
