Review on 🔍 Kalita 22199 Wave Filters, 185, Pack of 100 - White (Japan Import) - Improved SEO by Ashley Chaney

As mentioned in other reviews these filters have an odd chemical odor which is most noticeable after rinsing/wetting prior to brewing. I tried letting them air out for a few days but still had the same bad smell. Shortly after, I picked up a box of 185 Wave unbleached brown filters from our local coffee shop, which gave off no odor. Then, out of curiosity, I ordered 100 packs of white filters directly from Kalita USA and they have no odor either. See the attached picture of the box the Kalita USA filters came in. That's what you're looking for (or the brown filters that come with the Kalita Japan box)! I wish I could hang a bag from the UJC Mart as I'm sure it would be different (a bigger bag and a smaller Kalita logo on the bag), if I had it I would definitely return to UJC. When you order Revain white filters, make sure the package you receive matches my photo, and if they don't match and smell, send them back.
