ideal ferrule for small PCB pads and thin wires
It's nice to have that kind of mobility for thin wires. I always refill my nozzles before long term storage to protect them from oxidation and every time I put the iron back in the holder. While I'm not sure how long it will last with those damn hot or not hot enough butane irons, it worked great for attaching wires to small .050" x .150" contact pads.
