It was much nicer than the plastic adapter that came with my Luxe Neo bidet. It started leaking after a year and didn't have its own seal. Installation was easy. All connections were finger tight and I used a wrench to tighten the hose connections an additional 1/4 turn to ensure they were secure. The shutdown function is practical. My bidet seems to be able to punch a hole in the concrete at full power. Now that I have a separate stopper, I can adjust the flow of water from the bidet to give a nice, soft stream. It's also nice to know that I can turn it off so my kids don't accidentally play with the lever and splash water all over the tub. I would say that this device is simply necessary to install a bidet.
