After about a month of use I can say it is quite durable. The tip wears out, as does the expensive block it replaces. It is sometimes difficult to disassemble as the case can be rotated to a position where rotating it 90° will not unlock it. It took some time to realize that it could be rotated 180° in the opposite direction to get out of this perpetually blocked situation. So far I'm very happy with it.
