I have been using D-Link cameras successfully for many years. But this camera is very disappointing. First, the ad claims it can continuously record to an SD card. It can't. It can only respond to motion events. To make matters worse, this camera doesn't properly detect motion events. If a cloud obscures the sun and thereby changes the overall brightness, this triggers an event. But if a person walks directly in front of the camera, it will NOT trigger any movement. I've tried all motion sensitivity settings but to no avail. D-Link technical support did not help. This camera does not have a direct web interface where an advanced user can configure useful settings. There's just a lame, confusing phone app to manage it. On the positive side, the live view works well with good image quality. But the recording functions are useless.
