Defective carbide tips on first use.
At first I just thought I was using the racquet too hard and that the reason the carbide tips broke off was operator error, but so far I've tried every hole saw except the 2" and failed. when used for the first time also with permanent lubrication (note) I only drilled mild steel, no hardened materials.
