Review on ๐Ÿ“ท Tamron SP AF 90mm F/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 Lens for Nikon - Detailed Review, Specifications, and Pricing by Erin Henderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was very excited to unbox the lens which was very good.

I've been tracking this lens for over 2 months and it's my first 1:1 macro lens. I was very pleased to unbox the lens which was packaged very well. To my surprise, the PUSH and PULL mechanism for switching between auto and manual focus works like a charm and I see no reason why people don't like this trick. The shots are sharp and not much detail is lost even when cropping. The autofocus motor makes more noise than other lenses I've used, but I'd prefer to use manual mode when photographing bugs and other living objects that move quickly. Tamron made a damn good lens at an affordable price. (I was referring to an affordable comparison with other lenses that do the same trick). In the near future I may add some frames from the landing. But I'm sure macro newbies won't be disappointed if they pick one up while supplies last.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
