Terrible Quality and Performance

This reamer countersink was a complete waste of money. Through trial and error, I found that it didn't work well on any type of material I used it on. It felt like something I'd pick up at a dollar store, not from an industrial and scientific supplier. The only pro was that it was relatively cheap, but the cons far outweighed any potential cost savings. I would not recommend this product to anyone in need of a reliable reamer countersink.

Pros
  • Effective for removing burrs and sharp edges on metal, wood, and plastic surfaces.
Cons
  • May require frequent sharpening to maintain its effectiveness over time.

Handy and works well

Looks good, feels good and removes burrs well. Except for woodworking or other softer materials I don't think I would use this for countersinking. I've tried it on some steel and it works well and the cutter stays sharp. I bought this as a gift to combine with some other items and a metal lathe and it fits the bill. It's a good brand and relatively low price. davegx

Pros
  • MAGNIFICATION AND COUNTERHOLES - in wood, brass, plastic and other materials with little effort
Cons
  • Requires a socket

Started fading after 3-4 uses. Garbage.

The bit wears out on the very first day of use. I've had the same tool in the past - same make, same model, ordered it from TrueValue - and this one has served me regularly for several years without a problem I bought it off Amazon to do the same job on the same hardware. Their production must have changed recently or something because it was the softest piece I've ever worked with. It was obviously boring and totally useless after about the third tube I tried to unbox Returned it next day…

Pros
  • ROD REMOVAL - from wood, pipes, tubes and pipes. 3/4" ID Deburring Tool
Cons
  • Very expensive
