Cannot be used in the kitchen area.
I bought two but could not use them for their intended purpose as they cannot be installed in a place where dishes can be handled or stacked. A warning in the installation states that the clinking of dishes triggers an alarm. I will install them elsewhere. I think Simplisafe is the best and most economical system available but these sensors will not be as useful as I had hoped.
