The glass sensor is defective and cannot be returned.

The sensor says it doesn't work every 3 or 4 days. I contacted Simplisfae directly and they were useless. They are the script they read. No help at all

Ease of Use - Security and Surveillance

I like it. Very easy and a good friend installed it for me. In the kit, plus the additions I need (I have 3 doors and lots of large windows), I have a little less than $300. I haven't put it on surveillance, but I will over the weekend. First learn how to use it.

Just add to your system!

Fair price and easy to add to an existing system. We've had it for a few years now and it's easy to use, the monitoring is at a fair price, and the people we've worked with for both monitoring and tech support have been great. Highly recommended!

Cannot be used in the kitchen area.

I bought two but could not use them for their intended purpose as they cannot be installed in a place where dishes can be handled or stacked. A warning in the installation states that the clinking of dishes triggers an alarm. I will install them elsewhere. I think Simplisafe is the best and most economical system available but these sensors will not be as useful as I had hoped.

High quality, efficient, state-of-the-art home surveillance

What can I say about SimpliSafe products; innovative, easy to install, excellent home alarm monitoring and constantly evolving. I'm one of those folks who had wired alarms from the late '90s to early 2000s. Monitoring and installation of alarm systems became more and more expensive. Then if you had any problems with the equipment you had to hire a technician who charged a service fee to fix your problem.
