It wasn't entirely clear how to center the axle. I tried looking at it while measuring my old one, but after putting it on I kept hearing a clink. I took it to a reputable repair shop who said my jeep tj's rear axle was off about an inch. After they centered it I can still hear the clinking, but not as much. Not sure what to expect but it was heavier than the bar even with the adjustable part. I also bought a Jeep with an existing lift kit and through research got a rough estimate of how high it was and had to guess how long the handlebars needed to be adjusted. If you want it to be accurate, bring it to the store afterwards.
