I bought these to use in my 32 ounce glass. My lid doesn't have an extra cutout to fit the straw perfectly, but the straws are flexible enough so it doesn't matter. Straws seem big enough for liquid refreshment but not big enough for smoothies or milkshakes. Sometimes I have problems in the middle of a sip because the straw collapses or sticks to the rim/bottom of the cup, even when I'm drinking tea. However, a quick change of straw solves this problem. The straws aren't difficult to clean, but they're so flexible that it's a bit difficult to insert the brush very gently. The curvature of the straws is straightened to allow a brush to pass through, leaving no dirt inside. I wish there was another purple, a little darker because I have a purple jar, but overall I like the straws the way they are.
