I chose this product based on all the information I read about it and the fact that my camper was bought pre-wired for it. The bottom line, if you have a newer GM truck, this product will not work because GM changes the power output of the 7-wire connector on the RV and thus does not provide enough power to run the cameras (and the LEDs hum loudly). ). The camera is assembled and ready to use. Sweating wasn't necessary. Installed a camera in my factory trailer. First trip, day 1, the camera worked fine. On the second day, the camera was not paired. I had to turn off each camera and manually connect to the monitor to pair them. Earned and on the way. The next day the same! Three cameras installed and working as advertised. Installation was very easy. The camera coverage provides good visibility in blind spots where my extra mirrors were inadequate. This was definitely a failure having already spent a decent amount of money on her new 33ft caravan. Our Keystone Shelter was pre-assembled on both the side and rear lights. We didn't get much help from our RV dealer and the pre-wiring instructions weren't complete so unfortunately we removed our entire side light and tied all the correctly colored wires together and it works fine only to find out when we were on the other side of the RV arrived all we had to do was score the silicone and slide
