Very tough conditions and easy installation for anyone with welding skills. I haven't welded in at least 15 years, but the metal is so thick I turned it over and made three nice welds. I have heard some say that they are difficult to classify. I had no problems, just broke the old one (it was in bad shape, folded on its own to be let go). Then I took a diamond grinding wheel and cut off the old welds. I completely cut off the top weld and sanded it smooth. Two welds on the axle where the old bracket was ground off, leaving some of the old weld as a guide. Then came a new mount. I clamped it down and started welding. The axle was pushed back so I took the ratchet strap and wrapped it from the bumper to the axle and realigned it with the hole in the new forearm and I was on the road again. I actually made it in under two hours because I had to pick up my daughter at 8:30 that day.
