Very thick steel! At first you will feel the weight and realize that they are heavy. There is an adjustment hole on the bracket, the cheaper ones don't. The price is much better than OEM or Jeep aftermarket stores. Make sure you have a good weld and you'll be fine!

I liked the overall thickness and quality. The only thing I don't like is that they have to be trimmed to get the right angle for installation. It would be much better if they made the left bracket and right bracket with the correct built in corners. That would have saved the installer at least 45 minutes.

Very misleading and contradictory. Especially when the manufacturer claims it's a pair. But they just send you a clip?! I am very disappointed to pay so much for a mount. I DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you want to overpay for ONE mount bracket. This page should be closed because of incorrect or misleading information!

Very tough conditions and easy installation for anyone with welding skills. I haven't welded in at least 15 years, but the metal is so thick I turned it over and made three nice welds. I have heard some say that they are difficult to classify. I had no problems, just broke the old one (it was in bad shape, folded on its own to be let go).
