These desktop air switches are best after bread cutting. When remodeling my kitchen I included one of these, it was easy! There are always 2 switches next to the sink, one for disposal, one for light, and no one knows which is which! Instead, I converted the disposer into an extra outlet (you can always use extra outlets in the kitchen!) and included an air breaker. I made a hole in the granite myself. The switch itself is exactly 1 1/4 inches in diameter. I drilled the standard 1 3/8" hole that is used for faucets just because it's the same size as the faucet and soap dispenser. The knob fits perfectly and is tightened so it doesn't move. This kit has a lock button which means you press it once to start recycling and press it again to stop.Very easy to use, looks very neat and stylish!My only concern is that it's made of finished plastic and isn't real stainless steel but it's easy to replace and still looks fantastic on my countertop The price was good too.
