This is a fantastic set at an incredible price. Very high quality silicone. However, the design is too complex and flimsy to work well as an ice cube mold - the result is a very crude sculpture, often shattered. Han Solo in carbonite, for example, is simply ineffective. However, they seem to work very well with other materials - chocolate, soap, etc. I've even tried large molds with gelatin and it has shown promise. although I probably had to get it up to the right temperature to keep it from falling apart.
