Ever wondered "are there 3/4 inch marker lights that can withstand the extreme temperatures found in fog lights”? Well the answer is yes! I installed them in my fog lights about a month ago and they do great inside the fog light housing where temperatures can reach several hundred degrees. I connected them to a relay so they are only on when the fog lights are off. Please note that I don't have any wiring near the halogen bulb or it will melt, but the light itself is fine. I have they also connected to a fuse for safety. They are light and durable and if they can work in my extreme application they should work for you. Update: It's now the end of September and these little headlights are still working fine after being in the fog lights for almost 10 months. The LEDs shine evenly and the lens is still crystal clear. I've also installed them in my side mirrors to use as turn signals and they work great for that too.
