BEWARE! Nothing is perfect. Maybe I caught a defective pot among many sold good ones. For me, the lid kept flying off during the perk! I literally had to hold it in place the whole time while it was on the burner. I checked the lid to see if it needed to be screwed on. no I checked if it should be positioned a certain way. no There are three equilateral small holes in the lid, which I think are used to put the lid on. In my case they were ineffective. I'm tempted to take action and try again, but it's not worth it. I would be interested if anyone else had this problem. There's a lot of good stuff in the pot. Appearance, easy to clean, delicious hot coffee. R&D needs to rethink the cap issue.
