Use it hot from the microwave or cold from the freezer, both are amazing. The strings seem like they would be extraneous, but they are not. Leave them on.
- I really love how this device retains heat. I would order it again.
- The wrap may not conform well to the neck and shoulder area, reducing its effectiveness
