Abie for Peeling a Waxed Swede
I was able to easily remove the tough, waxy skin from a large swede. The position of the blade allowed me to hold the veggies securely on the cutting board while peeling. Despite the waxy coating, the blade quickly removed most of the shell. Trying to hold it in place with a straight knife would be much more difficult.
