At first I thought this would be a great buy because it would help me easily distinguish between cutting boards for different types of food. I was expecting thicker plastic but this product is not that thick at all. It was only slightly thicker than what I had as a plastic dining table mat. The bottom of the plastic didn't stick to my granite countertop at all. The plastic just slid everywhere while I was trying to cut something on it. I find it very difficult to use and unsafe as I'm cutting with a sharp knife and half the time I was afraid the plastic would slip off and then I'd cut my finger with the knife. Knowing this now, I'd rather use an actual cutting board and not bother with it.
