The timer works but is too quiet. hardly heard!
Barely audible even at close range. Everything else is 100% normal. Easy to set up, clear, big numbers. My much older West Bend timer with a very similar setting, hours, minutes, seconds etc rings loud enough that I can hear more than the room. I keep an extra timer on my bedside table if I want to sleep a few more minutes after my alarm goes off. This is when it's only a few inches from my head and not loud enough to wake a mouse! I can't use this new one in the kitchen because running water or other kitchen noises drown it out.
