Review on MTC 4687 / 06J-115-611E Engine Oil Dipstick - For Audi/Volkswagen Models by James Handy

I don't trust the cloud. Or timely delivery of groceries. Or city power. Or water. Or shops for quick oil changes. Or the electronic oil level on my wife’s 2018 Porsche Macan. I recently bought one of these dipsticks for a 2.0 turbo Porsche Macan. This dipstick fits perfectly and its oil level is exactly in line with the electronic oil level gauge in the dashboard menu. NOW I can have some confidence in the electronic oil level gauge. And it makes it easy to check the color/cleanliness of the oil from time to time instead of plugging one of the hoses from the oil drain pump. I don't know if the cap on this dipstick will close when it's inserted as I don't know if I plan on leaving it in the engine. Will continue to plug in the factory plug after the probe is removed.
