We use these containers for absolutely everything. We fill them with bags of crackers, almonds, cookies, cat treats and chocolate after opening the bags. We use them to chill unused portions of canned or frozen vegetables and other leftovers. I use them to spread cookies and fudge. I like the motto: love to use, hate to lose. Every few months I end up buying 3 or 4 more of these sets because we use so much and end up giving away so many goodies. WARNING: I do not cook them in the microwave. I don't wash them in the dishwasher. If you leave them in a hot car, the plastic will soften noticeably. We've had issues with occasional breakage, particularly the lid, but that happens over time. Also, I'm not a big fan of the lid locking feature. It just makes the lids harder to clean; I also add them together, which makes this function obsolete. 5 stars despite these comments because I seriously don't want to miss them. CONCLUSION: I wouldn't be without her.
