Review on 🔒 Gold Finish Zinc Cylinder Night Latch Lock with Latch Bolt - Sumbin Night Latch Lock by Darnell Evans

Through trial and error I was able to remap two of these to match my Kwikset locks. I had to buy extra pins to fit my keys. The cylinder seems a bit narrower than the Kwikset so I had to improvise to keep the springs and shear pins from flying out when the toggle switch is removed. The castle matches the aesthetic of the old 100 year old Yale Castle it replaced. The locking cylinder is combined with the Yale night latch. I only had to open the hole an additional 1/8 inch on all sides for this replacement to fit. This lock has a neat feature that allows the bolt to be locked in the open or closed position. That adds a bit of security but the old 1920's doors on our house won't keep burglars out no matter what lock we choose. Overall it serves the intended purpose and fits the character of our old house.
