I was a bit worried at first because it didn't seem too strong. However, I think that's how I attached it first and didn't really latch it securely like I should have. Now that I've learned how to turn it on and off, it's easy. Once securely fastened, it's fairly durable and secure. Now I use it often when I shampoo my car and convertible top. It's easy to get at things with. I even used it when I sanded and recleaned my wife's Prius. Works very well, door jambs do not spoil. Pretty cool product.
