Four stars only because of misleading image. There is only "one" item, no "package" as shown. The item is well made and works as shown, however if you want one for each side of your vehicle or for the front and rear doors you will need to order two 'packs'. They worked on both my 2011 Honda Pilot and my 2019 Subaru Forrester.

As cars and SUVs get bigger, it is usually necessary to use a ladder or small ladder to get onto the roof of the car/SUV. This gadget was just what I needed. Something small, easy to put on and use, and then put away. Now I can easily access the roof of my SUV from any of my four doors with this door step. Every SUV or truck owner should have one. Good value for money.

I bought these to put kayaks on a roof rack. However, using them to step on a doorknob wasn't very reliable. I was able to stand in the door of my car and get onto the roof without those door steps. I think if you had a car that was higher in the air it would work. However, for underground vehicles, I consider this a waste of time and money, and possibly even more a waste of money if it ruins your doorknob...

6/28/21 - NOT HAPPY! My order arrived today and only had 1 step even though the page/listing says 'pack' and says 2 steps. The product is good but the advertising is false/misleading. According to the dot-com dictionary, the word "package" is defined as "a group of things bound or packaged together for ease of handling or transportation." AN article is not a package! If GOLDTRUE sends me a second step I will update my review.

When I got my car door step I immediately wanted to try it because I was strongly advised to use something that would reach the roof of my van to support the ladder I am carrying it on the roof but I was concerned if it could support my 220 lb weight and the result was fantastic as I could place it in a dealer's doorway with great ease and quickly use it as a prop to be able to maneuver the Brackets for the stairs that I have on the ceiling. So it's worth the money

Portable and easy to install and disassemble. This thing is a game changer when you're traveling and need to put things on or off the roof. Plus, it's more convenient than carrying around a bulky ladder. This is good design; it has a combination of steel and plastic. Steel provides support and strength, while plastic prevents damage to the paintwork. Surprisingly, this can be done with one hand both on and off. If you are still skeptical about paint damage, sticking a paper towel in between can

I was a bit worried at first because it didn't seem too strong. However, I think that's how I attached it first and didn't really latch it securely like I should have. Now that I've learned how to turn it on and off, it's easy. Once securely fastened, it's fairly durable and secure. Now I use it often when I shampoo my car and convertible top. It's easy to get at things with. I even used it when I sanded and recleaned my wife's Prius. Works very well, door jambs do not spoil. Pretty cool…
