Review on Chemical Guys TVD11504 Clean Remover by James Hounds

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works, affordable and smells good!

Bought a used car that had a lot of wax stains on the plastic trim. I don't know how long they were there, but I suspect at least a year or more. It did take a microfiber cloth and a bit of scraper a few times, but I'll be damned if that didn't get the stain out. Someone else recommended a toothbrush for hard-to-reach areas that needed more aggressive brushing, so I might try that. I've also used it on painted doors where there was a very narrow horizontal channel where I could see the old wax. The laundry just couldn't get it out, but this Trim Clean did! I just sprayed it onto the fabric and used my fingernail to push the fabric into the channel and go back and forth. No damage to the paintwork, except that some of the wax protection may have been removed. Also used it to remove wax from the backup sensors on the bumper. After all, this stuff smells amazing.

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Exorbitant piggy bank
