Car care required

This product needs to be stronger. Half a bottle for a Mini Cooper fender and still no wax coming out of the plastic. I ordered a blast gun and know they get the wax out of the plastic.

Will not work on car polishes and waxes

Feedback on this product has been loved. I was concerned because the wax got on the upholstery when my car was treated and I tried everything to get it off. Using this product exactly as intended but to no avail. Have tried the whole bottle so far and no improvement.

Will NOT work with waxes

Watch the video. The guy barely rubbed and she was clean. It's not like this. I rubbed until I felt my arm would fall off. Needed a little at first. Then I got the cloth really wet and when it was dry it was like I was doing nothing. This thing looks like skillful water with red color. Done nothing. Terrible waste of money and time.

  • Free for educational purposes

it worked but good

I bought this product to remove wax that had built up on a BMW weatherproof finish. He removed all growths but ate through the outer layer of the seal. I do not recommend this product, but I endorse every other Chemical Guys product I have used. Do not use this to remove wax, it could not be used in moderation, it will either rub off or not work. But I used a regular eraser and it worked great (chemists have to sell erasers).

Brilliant! Really works!

This is AWESOME! I waxed the fendwr flares on my Jeep (and the edge of my hard top, the edges of the metal headlamp covers, etc.) not knowing how quickly it would get dirty. That was over a year ago, I tried everything to get it off, even a restorer to cover it up, it just went away after a while. This product required a little "elbow grease" (I used a toothbrush and microfiber cloth and had to go over each area twice) but it really worked and there was not a trace of wax anywhere, including…

Do not use Chemical Guys products! Is always!

Chemical products are the worst products you could ever use on your car. Thought I'd give it a try as I usually use products from reputable companies. Not only do chemical products not work, they also ruin your car! Point! Once this happens they recommend another product they offer to fix the damage and that doesn't work either. You end up spending tons of dollars on products that try to fix the damage the chemistry guys' products originally did. Your products ruined my new truck and I still…

Works, affordable and smells good!

Bought a used car that had a lot of wax stains on the plastic trim. I don't know how long they were there, but I suspect at least a year or more. It did take a microfiber cloth and a bit of scraper a few times, but I'll be damned if that didn't get the stain out. Someone else recommended a toothbrush for hard-to-reach areas that needed more aggressive brushing, so I might try that. I've also used it on painted doors where there was a very narrow horizontal channel where I could see the old wax.

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Exorbitant piggy bank

IT WORKS OUT! IGNORE BAD REVIEWS!

The thing works! I don't know why there are so many bad reviews? You should use a nail brush or toothbrush to clean it and rub it a little. A few months ago I waxed the car with wax which I thought could be used on plastic. I didn't even try to avoid cropping. That gives you an idea of how much wax residue there was on my black plastic trim. Then I was too lazy to figure out how to take it off, so I let it bake in the North Carolina sun all summer. POOH! It's October and since the weather was a
