I used this welder to rebuild my e-bike battery. He did an excellent job welding 78 batteries. At first I bought a slightly cheaper one, but it was not suitable for welding pure nickel strips with a thickness of 0.1 mm. I bought this because the description said it could be used to weld strip up to 0.3mm thick. In the case of steel, that may be true. I haven't checked. But I can say that it only produces suitable PURE NICKEL welds up to 0.1mm thick. I tried 0.15mm pure nickel strips but the welds came loose fairly easily. Oh and I had to make all the welds in 0.1mm material with at least 90% charged welder. In the 80s, the welds began to suffer. 4 stars because the product works well and does what I need, not 5 stars because it can't weld thicker materials and can only make about 100 welds before it needs to be recharged to keep making good welds.
