Well the product page title says it's baking soda but the listing says it's citric acid sodium chlorite. But the fine print on the packaging itself states that the active ingredient is chlorine dioxide and is packaged for slow release once the tube is cracked. I've done some research on chlorine dioxide and it's primary use as a disinfectant when used in tightly controlled amounts. At refrigerator temperature, chlorine dioxide is a liquid, so the wand pushes the liquid out and sprays it? It would be nice to know more details about how this works. It can and certainly will disinfect things, but I worry about using it uncontrolled around food. So I will use it in my closet. I recommend the seller to update the product page with correct and complete information about ingredients and spraying and sanitizing methods to gain consumer trust.
