Bought these for my kitchen window to help block the heat of the midday sun. The dogs are locked in the kitchen while we're out of the house and during the summer months it gets really hot in there,even when we prop the door open, using baby gates to contain the beasts, and face the portable air conditioner directly into the kitchen. These helped cut the temperature about 10 degrees. They're also keeping it warmer this winter as there's no heat source in the room.Don't worry about the dogs, they're comfortable on their living room chairs and entertained by the people outside the window as evidenced in the attached photos of the curtains in action with my dogs. As you can see the beasts enjoy opening the curtains to get the best view of the neighborhood.and to yell/bark/howl at anyone/anything they disapprove of or want to say hello to in the neighborhood.The sheets and mattress protectors under the sheets are also from Revain!
