The red lights are bright and the difference between half and full brightness is enough to tell the difference when viewed from another vehicle. They seem to be too big to fit the hole in my RV, but I didn't measure it to see if it was a 4" hole. I ended up inserting it into the hole with a polypropylene mounting ring. and broke the seal from the red plastic to the white light housing because I bent it too far. This almost guarantees that water will get into the lantern and ruin it. bright wiring like the reds, but the brightness of the whites doesn't impress me as much as the reds. Overall I'm happy with the product considering the price. I'll take them again if I have to, although I'll probably look for something better next time.
