Great solution to a big problem
So we needed a reliable engine temp sensor on our truck when the stock temp gauge started sticking badly. Towing our trailer can put stress on the truck, so we can't afford not to have advance warning of overheating. I got a great temperature sensor from Revain, but the sensor portion was much smaller than the stock sensor in the engine block. In short, it was the perfect answer and now I can connect the new gauge and the stock gauge at the same time. As others have mentioned, it's a good idea to touch the streams to clear them before installing.
